Assemble, fit, and install mechanical parts, components, and
machinery using blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Perform precision measurements, alignments, and adjustments
to ensure parts meet tolerance standards.
Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of
equipment, including welding, grinding, and machining tasks.
Inspect tools, machines, and finished products for defects,
wear, or malfunctions, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to fabricate
custom parts or modify existing designs.
Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials, and
ensure compliance with safety protocols and workplace regulations.
Document work processes, including maintenance logs and
quality checks, for record-keeping and audits.
Assist in training junior staff or apprentices on fitting
techniques and best practices and finished products for defects, wear, or
malfunctions, and recommend corrective actions.
REQUIRED SKILLS
skilled ITI Fitter to assemble, install, and maintain mechanical equipment. have ITI certification in Fitter trade and hands-on experience in fitting, machining, and troubleshooting.
